Zimbabwe are to pay the Brazilian's 1.3Million in appearance fee.This is a country whose unemployment rate is 95% according to the CIA world factbook and also has a 68% population leaving below the poverty line.
To me this is just stupidity, there is really no way the friendly match is going to bring foreign investors or revenues to the country, so I see no reason why it should be done.
